How do you roll it out to clients?

  2. Add each client's domain in the dashboard. Every site gets its own install code.
  3. Set the button color, position, language and tools to fit the client's site.
  4. Paste the code into the client's site using our install guides.
  5. Check the visitor reports in your dashboard and turn them into fixes for the client.

How should you describe it to clients?

Describe Octo Assist as tools that help visitors adjust the page. Don't sell it as a way to become compliant or avoid lawsuits: no script can fix a site's code, and regulators have fined companies for that kind of claim.

A fair way to say it: "We added accessibility tools so visitors can adjust text, color and motion. We're also fixing issues in the site itself." Our guide on what widgets can and can't do explains why.

The widget is a good add-on to the accessibility work you already do: semantic HTML, alt text, labeled forms, keyboard support and good contrast. Our accessibility checklist is a handy starting point for client projects.

Yes. Each site has its own settings, install code, usage numbers and visitor reports. How many sites you can add depends on your plan.

Can clients see the dashboard?

Not yet. Sites live in your account. You can share usage numbers and visitor reports with clients yourself.

What if I manage more sites than the biggest plan allows?
